Company Introduction and Startup Story
Pure Food Asia Co., Ltd. was established in 2013 as a joint venture between Cha I Shan Food Co., Ltd., NH Foods Taiwan Ltd. and Nippon Pure Food, Inc. Production commenced at our Pingtung facility in 2014, focusing on concentrated extracts for export to Japan while supplying animal extracts and seasonings to the domestic Taiwanese market.
We utilize both pressure and atmospheric extraction methods, with a signature emphasis on the deep, artisanal "Umami" flavor achieved through atmospheric pressure extraction. Having obtained international certifications such as FSSC 22000 in 2016, we primarily serve ramen shops, hot pot restaurants, and noodle manufacturers. Our distribution network continues to expand, currently reaching Myanmar and Cambodia via Hong Kong and Singapore.
In 2018, we launched our ingredient factory, enabling the production of processed meats like chashu pork and roast beef. Following a major investment in 2025, this facility now features continuous production lines for grilled and deep-fried foods, further diversifying our product portfolio. From now on, we’ll keep experimenting to create flavors that suit Taiwanese food culture and preferences, and aim to improve customer satisfaction through quick sample feedback.
Looking ahead, we remain committed to developing products that resonate with Taiwanese culinary culture through continuous innovation and rapid R&D feedback. Despite early challenges—such as equipment malfunctions and language barriers—we have overcome these obstacles by leveraging our Japanese expertise and the dedication of our local team. By implementing 5S practices, cross-departmental quality meetings, and ongoing technical training, we continue to uphold a world-class quality management system.
Our Vision: ''Becoming a partner that supports food''
We integrate Japanese quality with local understanding to grow alongside communities through safe, stable supply, product development, and human resource cultivation. We promote sustainable ingredient sourcing and environmental stewardship, striving to remain a company that always commands local trust.

Production Line Introduction Inside the Factory
I. Extracts & Seasonings Factory (Livestock Extracts & Seasonings)
- Flavor-Oriented Production: Utilizing both pressure extraction and atmospheric extraction. Atmospheric extraction, in particular, achieves a deep, rich flavor and a thick mouthfeel similar to "Zundou-taki" (traditional Japanese deep-pot boiling), consistently supplying specialty-grade flavors.
- International Standards for Safety and Quality: We achieved FSSC 22000 certification in 2016. By implementing 5S methodologies and cross-departmental Quality assurance process management, we deliver safe, high-quality products.
- Labor-Saving and Cost-Reducing Benefits: Food service operators do not need to maintain their own bone storage facilities or engage in hours of boiling, directly saving on fuel, labor, and waste oil disposal costs.
- Extensive Product Line and Proven Track Record: We specialize in livestock extracts, core sauces ("tare"), and animal-derived oils. With a solid foundation in the Taiwan market, we are expanding our presence in Southeast Asia via Hong Kong and Singapore.
- Customer-Oriented Support: We leverage a rapid cycle of "sample presentation ➔ feedback ➔ improvement" to build custom recipes tailored to local tastes and preferences.

II. Food Processing Plant (Processed Meat Products)
- Integrated Meat Processing : We can process products like Chashu (braised pork) and Roast Beef. By integrating our meat processing with in-house extract production, we ensure a stable supply of ingredients that maintain high flavor consistency and "menu fidelity" for our clients.
- Scale & Automation Excellence: Following a major investment in 2025, our facility now features advanced continuous production lines for both grilled (Yakiniku) and fried foods. This automation enhances our mass-production capacity, ensuring shorter lead times and a reliable supply chain.
- Versatile Support (OEM/ODM): Beyond the food service sector, we provide comprehensive support for OEM projects and raw material supply, catering to the specific needs of instant noodle brands and frozen food manufacturers.
- Quality Management System: We implement rigorous process controls and quality uniformity by blending Japanese operational know-how with continuous on-site technical training for our local team.

Obtained FSSC 22000 International Certification in 2016.

As the manufacturing base of the Nipponham Group in Taiwan, Pure Food Asia has been growing since its establishment in 2013, focusing on ''Taiwan's passion for rich food'' and ''thorough Japanese-style quality management''.
In 2016, the company became an early adopter in securing the FSSC 22000 international food safety management system certification—a powerful testament to the Group’s unwavering commitment to safety and peace of mind.
In the early stages of expansion, we faced numerous hurdles, including language barriers and equipment technic troubles. However, we overcame these challenges through hands-on, down-to-earth collaboration with our powerful local partner, Cha I Shan Foods, alongside our dedicated local staff. This experience shaped Pure Food Asia's strong training philosophy today. Instead of just imposing strict manuals, we nurture our local teams to become self-motivated, high-performing individuals based on dialogue and mutual understanding.
Today, authentic Japanese food trends, led by "Japanese Ramen," have firmly established themselves in Taiwan, pushing demands for flavor consistency and customization higher than ever. Simultaneously, the food service industry faces an urgent need to elevate quality management standards.
Pure Food Asia is fully committed to proactively supporting our clients, turning their "dedication to uncompromising quality" into reality..
